The second annual Cocktails and Jerk Pageant is taking up Dr. Wilbert Mcintyre Park this weekend, giving individuals a style of Caribbean tradition.
“Good vibes, good meals, good individuals, good vitality, a pleasant day, some cocktails, cannot go improper with that,” stated Dewayne Taylor, the pageant organiser.
The thought for the pageant happened through the pandemic lockdowns.
“I needed to go someplace, so I assumed, ‘Why not deliver the holiday right here?'” stated Taylor.
The pageant options 10 meals distributors with over a dozen various kinds of meals, reside music, performances and, in fact, cocktails.
On Saturday the pageant was practically at capability after opening, which Taylor referred to as a “success.”
The Cocktails and Jerk Pageant runs till 9 p.m. Sunday.
