BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ/Virginia Tech Launch) – Travis Wells, WDBJ7 Sports activities Director since 2008, has been named assistant athletics director for strategic communications at Virginia Tech, based on Director of Athletics Whit Babcock.
