Public Health Officials Continue to Report Slide in COVID Numbers, with 1,591 for Week

San Diego County public health officials on Thursday reported 1,591 new COVID-19 circumstances during the last week, together with 10 extra deaths.

The numbers cowl circumstances from the seven-day interval that ended Monday. The depend of each day circumstances over that point:

  • Monday – 206
  • Sunday – 150
  • Saturday –188
  • Friday – 219
  • Oct. 6 – 270
  • Oct. 5 – 316
  • Oct. 4 – 242

The weekly numbers continued their regular downward development, from the 1,855 reported over the past week, and the two,284 circumstances introduced on Oct. 6.

With the replace, there have been 927,970 whole COVID circumstances within the county and 5,517 deaths for the reason that pandemic started in early 2020.

Of the ten current deaths, two had been ladies and eight had been males. They died between Jan. 29 and Oct. 5. One of many newly reported deaths occurred within the final two weeks.
