A brand new license plate design that celebrates Oregon and the variety of its tradition will debut October 1st in recognition of the twentieth anniversary of the Oregon Cultural Belief. The art work known as Have a good time Oregon!
A launch from the Oregon Cultural Belief mentioned the art work for the license plate was created by artist Liza Burns of Eugene and also will be put in as full-scale murals at airports in Eugene, Medford, Portland and Redmond.
Cultural Belief Board Chair Niki Value mentioned “The brand new design, constructed on a panorama of Oregon geography. displays and respects the variety of our tradition at a time we want it most”.
The discharge described Have a good time Oregon! as “…a vibrant tapestry of Oregon geography into that are woven 127 symbols representing completely different facets of our collective arts, heritage, and cultural practices”.
