Aug 1 (Reuters) – Britain’s largest sportswear retailer JD Sports activities Style (JD.L) will promote Footasylum to German asset administration agency Aurelius Group for an enterprise worth of about 45 million euros ($46 million), the businesses stated on Monday.

Britain’s competitors regulator final yr ordered JD Sports activities to promote Footasylum after it discovered that the mixture might result in a “worse deal” for shoppers. read more

JD Sports activities, which sells manufacturers similar to Nike (NKE.N), Adidas (ADSGn.DE) and Puma (PUMG.DE) in its bodily and on-line shops, purchased Footasylum in 2019 for 86 million kilos ($102.9 million) in its quest for dominance within the sportswear market.
