On October 8-9, Ukrainians in Iceland will host a tradition competition in Kolaportið. The competition is named “Úkraína þakkar Íslandi” or “Ukraine thanks Iceland” and goals to point out gratitude to Iceland which welcomed over 1300 Ukrainians asking for worldwide safety after Russia invaded Ukraine on February twenty fourth.
