The proprietor, Ivo Diaz, tells Information 12 that the storefront seemed a lot completely different with the glass on the door utterly shattered after a break-in that occurred Wednesday morning.

The individual within the video is then seen strolling into the enterprise, hopping over the bar and taking the money register, which police say had over $300 inside. 

Diaz says the restaurant was additionally damaged into on Sept. 17 and Sept. 18, the place he says somebody got here in and stole meals.

Diaz says that as a result of the restaurant is a small enterprise, relatively than a big company with a bigger funds, he was fearful that he wouldn’t have the ability to pay his workers. This was as a result of toll the coronavirus pandemic had already taken a toll on them.  

The neighborhood has come collectively to assist Casa Ora. Extra than $3,000 has been donated on GoFundMe to assist the restaurant enhance its safety measures, and Diaz additionally says he’s had employees repair the window and gate whereas not charging him for labor. 

Police say the incident is underneath investigation presently. No arrests have been made.
