MOORHEAD — The chief know-how officer for 3M might be presenting on the 2022 Werth Lectures beginning Thursday, Sept. 22, at Concordia School.
John Banovetz will current the “From Publish-Its to Optically Clear Adhesives: The Science and Tales Behind 3M Adhesives” at 7 p.m in Barry Auditorium, Grant Heart.
At 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, Banovetz will talk about “Polymers, Pitstops and Individuals” in Barry Auditorium.
Banovetz is the chief know-how officer and the the manager vp at 3M, and he leads greater than 8,000 scientists who work to unravel real-world wants of shoppers world wide.
He has a doctorate in inorganic chemistry from Stanford College and a bachelor’s diploma in chemistry from Hamline College.
The Richard G. Werth Lecture in Chemistry is funded by an endowment established by Werth’s spouse, Wilma, and their son, Gerald. Werth additionally taught at Concordia from 1950 till 1990.
