AUSTIN (KXAN) — Politicians throughout Texas are paying tribute to those that died on 9/11 on the 20th anniversary of the fear assaults.

In statements launched Saturday morning, lawmakers largely put politics apart as they remembered those that died, honored first responders and remembered how the nation got here collectively within the wake of the stunning assaults.
