Farooq Hakim DL, vice president of strategic shoppers & cloud transformation at Oracle, received the Digital and Expertise class of the Northern Asian Powerlist 2022.
The full list of winners, along with all those shortlisted, was announced on 6 October.
Hakim has over 20 years’ involvement within the supply of advanced enterprise transformation programmes with govt roles as chief working officer, vp, chief data officer and chief know-how officer.
He has used his expertise and experience to drive digital transformation in a group centered means, working with the North East LEP and the College of Sunderland.
The Digital and Expertise class is designed to shine a highlight on the people who’re using the know-how wave from fintech to synthetic intelligence (AI) and blockchain.

• Zeshan Sattar, senior director of studying & abilities certification, CompTIA
