WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration moved Wednesday to oust 18 allies of Donald Trump who have been named to U.S. navy academy boards within the ultimate months of the Republican president’s time period in workplace.

Cathy Russell, director of the White Home Presidential Personnel Workplace, despatched letters to 18 folks named to the boards of tourists for the Air Pressure Academy, Army Academy and Naval Academy calling on them to resign by shut of enterprise on Wednesday or they might be terminated.

Amongst these Biden sought to take away are some high-profile former Trump administration officers, together with White Home counselor Kellyanne Conway (Air Pressure Academy), press secretary Sean Spicer (Naval Academy), nationwide safety adviser H.R. McMaster (U.S. Army Academy) and Workplace of Administration and Funds director Russell Vought (Naval Academy).

White Home press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed that the previous Trump officers have been requested to resign or face firing.
