Stephen G. Breyer, Affiliate Justice, was born in San Francisco, California, August 15, 1938. He married Joanna Hare in 1967, and has three youngsters – Chloe, Nell, and Michael. He obtained an A.B. from Stanford College, a B.A. from Magdalen School, Oxford, and an LL.B. from Harvard Regulation College. He served as a regulation clerk to Justice Arthur Goldberg of the Supreme Courtroom of the USA throughout the 1964 Time period, as a Particular Assistant to the Assistant U.S. Legal professional Normal for Antitrust, 1965–1967, as an Assistant Particular Prosecutor of the Watergate Particular Prosecution Pressure, 1973, as Particular Counsel of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, 1974–1975, and as Chief Counsel of the committee, 1979–1980. He was an Assistant Professor, Professor of Regulation, and Lecturer at Harvard Regulation College, 1967–1994, a Professor on the Harvard College Kennedy College of Authorities, 1977–1980, and a Visiting Professor on the School of Regulation, Sydney, Australia and on the College of Rome. From 1980–1990, he served as a Decide of the USA Courtroom of Appeals for the First Circuit, and as its Chief Decide, 1990–1994. He additionally served as a member of the Judicial Convention of the USA, 1990–1994, and of the USA Sentencing Fee, 1985–1989. President Clinton nominated him as an Affiliate Justice of the Supreme Courtroom, and he took his seat August 3, 1994.
