The sale of a Kentucky Energy has gotten a little more complicated. Although the state Senate declined to substantiate two of Gov. Beshear’s appointees to the three-member Public Service Fee, the governor says state legislation will permit the sale to proceed with no quorum.

A brand new ballot says Beshear is the most popular Democratic in the country two and a half years into the job.

And primary election season is right here.
