Rural Individuals typically outline liberty and duty as deciding and doing issues for your self, aside from no matter the federal government or liberal society thinks. In my group, many vividly exhibit this by refusing COVID vaccinations, at the same time as infections among the many unvaccinated climb.
However in fact, individuals dwelling exterior of rural communities typically see private duty within the COVID period in reverse phrases: You will have a duty to others to not act in a manner that places them in danger. And to this point, I haven’t heard a rural reply to this—solely a painfully disappointing doubling down in protection of our supposedly endangered liberty (painful to me due to my love and respect for my rural household and associates).
